Flowery Branch is where the Atlanta Falcons work. The team’s headquarters and training facility is at 4400 Falcon Parkway, and every summer it is where training camp happens. The New Georgia Encyclopedia says the team announced in 2004 that it would move training to Flowery Branch, and a $20 million campus was finished for the 2005 training season. This page sets out what the team itself says about camp, what it does not say yet, and how to make a day of it in town.
When is Falcons training camp?
The Falcons’ FAQ says camp is held at the Flowery Branch headquarters, usually starts in late July and lasts two to three weeks. That is the general pattern, not a schedule.
As of Oct. 17, 2026, the team has not published dates for 2027 camp or the rules for its open practices. We will not guess them. When the team posts them, the date, the practice times and any registration step will be on its site, and that is the page to plan from.

Can I buy Falcons gear at the facility?
No. The team says it does not sell merchandise at its Flowery Branch headquarters. If you want a jersey to get signed, bring it with you.
What is the facility called?
The team’s FAQ calls it the team headquarters and training facility, at 4400 Falcon Parkway, Flowery Branch, GA 30542. The Greater Hall Chamber lists it as IBM Performance Field. We use the team’s wording, since naming rights can change and the team is the one running camp.

How do I pair a camp visit with downtown?
Camp practices fill part of a day. Downtown Flowery Branch, the few blocks the City calls Old Town, can fill the rest. These are the pieces we can source:
Eat on Main Street
The City’s Main Street Business Directory lists Caroline’s On Main at 5518 Main St., Whole Being Cafe at 5510 Main St., Peyton’s Pie Company at 5609 Main St., The Porch on Main at 5603 Main St. and Antebellum at 5510 Church St. The Greater Hall Chamber says Antebellum was named one of the “50 Best Southern Restaurants” by OpenTable. We do not have current hours for these, so check each one before you go. More are on our restaurants page.
See the depot and the caboose
The depot at Railroad Avenue and Main Street is a railroad station the City dates to 1890. A historic caboose sits at the north end of Main Street and can be seen from Atlanta Highway (SR 13). Our depot story explains how the City bought the depot for a dollar.
Go down to the water
Flowery Branch Bay Park has shore and pier fishing on Lake Lanier, and a train runs along the water’s edge beside it. It has no boat ramp; our Bay Park ramp guide covers where to launch.
Catch a Thursday market
Camp falls in the summer market season. In 2026 the Flowery Branch Farmers Market met every Thursday from May 14 to Oct. 29 under the pavilion at 5210 Railroad Ave., 3:30 to 6:30 PM by the City calendar (the City FAQ says 7 PM). The 2027 season dates are not published yet. If they follow the same pattern, a Thursday camp visit can end at the market. See our farmers market page.
Do not count on a concert
The free Music in the Branch concerts at The AMP, 5603 Mitchell St., are a first-Sunday series. In 2026 they fell on May 3, June 7, Sept. 13 and Oct. 4, with nothing in July or August. The 2027 dates are not out, so check the events calendar before you plan around one.
