Looking down a sunny brick-paved sidewalk past cream and pale-blue brick storefronts with arched windows, an American flag and a hanging sign reading "Simple Pleasures"; red metal chairs and painted canvases sit outside a shop on the right, cars and a motorcycle are angle-parked along the street, and across the street a low brick building carries a "CITY HALL" sign under a deep blue sky with bare winter trees.

Parking for a meal

The City has not published a downtown parking map, space counts or time limits. Our parking page lists the areas the City named for its 2026 Christmas Market. To fit a meal into a walking plan, use the day planner. Its Thursday market plan ends at Antebellum. For what else is on Main Street, see Main Street and Old Town and things to do.

What we leave out

We do not print prices, star ratings or reservation policies, because we could not source them for every restaurant. We left off places we could not confirm are still open, such as Liberty Candy Company and Prime + Provisions, which other lists still name, and the chain restaurants on Spout Springs Road and Winder Highway, well outside downtown. If a listing here has changed, tell us on the contact page.
